Bilingual learning spaces: Lessons from using WhatsApp videos in a Ghanaian rural context

This study is a preliminary inquiry into the usage of audiovisual material for bilingual language education on the mobile application, WhatsApp in a Ghanaian rural community. Participatory Action Research framework was used. Content creators and rural teachers observe and study the potential of Mobile Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (mCSCL) to reconceptualize e-learning in rural spaces with online and offline discourses in Ga and English enabled by WhatsApp.
