2025 J. P. Farrell CIDE Student Research Symposium (JPFSRS)
The J. P. Farrell CIDE Student Research Symposium (JPFSRS) is an annual event hosted by the Comparative, International, and Development Education (CIDE) Research Centre at С»ÆÊéÊÓƵ, University of Toronto. Held in memory of Dr. Joe Farrell, co-founder of the CIDE collaborative specialization, this symposium serves as a platform for CIDE students to present their thesis research. It is a vital component of the CIDE specialization, providing EdD, PhD, MA, and MEd students completing a Major Research Paper (MRP) with the opportunity to share and discuss their work with peers, faculty, and the broader academic community. The JPFSRS celebrates student scholarship while fostering dialogue and collaboration in the field of comparative, international, and development education.
