Enrolment Notes

Periods during the Summer session

The Summer session at С»ÆÊéÊÓƵ consists of two 6-week periods: May-June and July-August. The term "Intersession" is historically used for the May-June period. Instructors compensate for any classes that may fall on a holiday.

  • 20245F refers to the first period (May to June) of the summer session which runs from Monday, May 06, 2024 to June 14, 2024.
  • 20245S refers to the second period (July to August) of the summer session which runs from Tuesday, July 02, 2024 to August 12, 2024.
Courses that require instructor approval
  • Please follow the instructions on our Course Enrolment webpage (in the "Enrolling in Courses" section).
Half-course limits
  • Full-time students can take no more than 2 half-courses in each period of the Summer session.
  • Part-time students can take no more than 1 half-course in the summer session (i.e., one in the May/June period OR one in the July/August period)
Master of Teaching (MT) program

MT Required Courses are not listed in this Course Schedule. They will be added automatically based on division, cohort and teaching subjects. Required courses may have slightly different sessional dates which will be provided by the MT program.

MEd students

Due to the summer fee structure, it is highly recommended that you review the program fee you have paid in comparison to the minimum degree fee to understand any potential balance of degree fees.

Newly admitted students

Newly admitted students cannot start in the summer; they only begin their program in the Fall/Winter session.

Registration and fees
  • Important information about Summer Session registration and fees is available on our Registration webpage.
  • For all masters students: Avoid the shock of a large bill at graduation; learn about your minimum degree fee, and what part-time status, summer courses, program transfers and fast tracking can mean.
