12:23:00 I think she's coming I can't control other people just. Okay. So captions are on and then record. 12:23:19 So welcome back to restorative reset. I'm Jen Barati. So it's so nice to be with you as we're in Midway through February. 12:23:30 Okay. 12:23:34 And I just appreciate everybody creating and maintaining the safe container. 12:23:41 Just always following any medical advice. 12:23:49 And then also reaching out for support. You can reach out through the OZ community or with me before after sessions also with the local networks in your communities. 12:24:04 And especially your loved ones. There's support. 12:24:08 I just wanted to share. 12:24:11 We also have these resources. Which are linked on the, website. So different ways to connect with me. 12:24:20 Different ways to watch the previous recordings of meditations and 12:24:26 Also the apps where there's a lot of free meditations through the IRS organization. 12:24:35 And then also. Some supportive information of what we're practicing today. And then I also included the link actually. 12:24:45 So Dr. Shelley Murphy, she was on a panel. And here's the recording if you want to watch it. 12:24:51 It's regarding. Mindfulness in the education system. So if you miss that, you can catch that there. 12:24:58 And there's also a new summit coming up. I'm starting today actually it's a 5 day free summit around joy so a lot of people who are known for meditation like Tar Brock and Sharon Salzburg and Jack Cornfield, Rick Henson. 12:25:14 So there's a lot of people that you might. Wanna watch so feel free to keep checking back there I'll keep posting some information. 12:25:26 And we'll come to the practice. 12:25:34 But before I start, if there's anything that anybody wants to share. 12:25:39 And if not, you can always reach out. 12:25:43 So we're going to continue discussing. And working with the solemn vow that we make in life. 12:25:50 In yoga, we call that the San Kalpa. So we've been discussing intentions. 12:25:54 The tensions. 12:26:00 So intentions are for this moment or for this practice. And they just support us in fulfilling our heartfelt desire, which is our purpose or mission, our why for this lifetime. 12:26:10 And then always feeling we're supported by the inner resource, which is that unchanging ease and okayness that supports us in the background. 12:26:18 So those 3 together actually bring the solemn bow, the St. Kelpa. So for today, maybe just reflecting on what is your why for this moment. 12:26:26 What is your intention? 12:26:30 So we can invite a statement in the present tense. It's easier for the mind to process. 12:26:36 And then using the senses, always using the senses and livens it. And maybe you don't even need an eye. 12:26:41 So for example, if your heartfelt desire is perhaps radiating love and joy, Maybe the intention could be to feel perfect and whole. 12:26:50 Just as you are. And then maybe if it's sharing creativity and openness as your heartfelt desire. 12:26:56 Maybe feeling spacious and timeless in order to be able to create and feel open. And then again imagining and using the senses. 12:27:06 Noticing where it rises in the body. And perhaps if your heartfelt desire might be around serving compassionately. 12:27:13 Maybe the intention could be to feel connected in order to serve communities or even serve yourself. And then again, imagineing and feeling that with the senses. 12:27:24 And then the felt sense in the body, this reinforces the intention of the heartfelt desire. 12:27:30 So if it physically feels right, if there's a feeling of restfulness and okayness and ease, then you can guess that you're going towards right action. 12:27:39 Just like if you feel tension. Or you feel this disease in the body. Maybe something's amiss. 12:27:46 So the body always tells us and helps us feel like we're doing the right thing. So during this this practice, I'll invite you to bring in an intention. 12:27:56 Interweaving the inner resource at any time. And then feeling into the body, noticing what's arising. 12:28:04 And it's totally acceptable if you're not sure what your intention is yet. So the invitation during this practice, the rest of the day, and then until we meet again is maybe inquiring into the solemn vow. 12:28:16 Is 3 parts in Kalpa, interweaving the inner resource. Recalling your why in the world, your heartfelt desire. 12:28:24 And then experiencing your why for that moment, your intention. And then during the practice, feeling free to invite my words or just let them float away and notice what is arising naturally for you. 12:28:37 And always staying with that false sense in the body to the degree that feels possible. And then during this practice, you will be guided by my voice. 12:28:46 Feel free to find any comfortable position. 12:28:52 You can sit down. You can lay down. You can stand. You can move in one spot. 12:28:58 If you fall asleep or rest. Or you can stay alert and awake or something in between. All of that's totally permissible. 12:29:06 And invited. If there is any discomfort at any time, feel free to open the eyes gently, ground the feet. 12:29:12 Find movement in the body. So let's complete our time now. Listen, IRS, integrated restoration. 12:29:20 So start to settle in. Just taking a few moments. Find uncomfortable position. Whatever the body wants to release into at this moment. 12:29:34 If you want to orientate in your space, feel free to even look around you. First just to feel into the space. 12:29:41 And then with guys eyes opening or closing or gazing. 12:29:46 Maybe being able to let go a little bit more. 12:29:51 Maybe even leaving any residues or anything left over from the day. Imagining tucking it away or gently laying it down or putting it in a drawer. 12:30:05 Just recognizing you can return to it later. Maybe feeling more ready and more refreshed. 12:30:15 Just at your own pace, maybe allowing the census to explore. 12:30:21 Liberating them all around. Not needing to attach or detach. 12:30:32 And be welcoming sensations of the body. 12:30:35 Just touching various textures or surfaces that it's resting on. 12:30:48 Noticing temperature. 12:30:54 Any places of coolness? 12:30:58 Places of warmth. 12:31:05 Any hints of color. Or light. Or shadows. 12:31:17 Noticing any sounds. It might be arising from the body. 12:31:24 Or inside the room. 12:31:28 Are gonna be on the room without needing to fix her change. Just noticing. 12:31:36 There's any tastes or sense. 12:31:43 And then maybe allowing the body to make any final adjustments. To feel completely at ease and comfortable. 12:31:58 During irest, but you greet every experience as messengers. Or pointers. 12:32:08 Just as it is. 12:32:16 As you're ready, might too welcome in the inner resource. A safe haven. Or refuge. Oasis. 12:32:29 And even if sounds coming in or out of the room. 12:32:34 Just notice how they arise. And expand. 12:32:41 And dissipate in their own time back to where they came from. 12:32:46 Nothing to fix or change. 12:32:52 All the while filling into the inner resource that 12:32:56 Might support you in feeling secure and safe. 12:33:01 Love the at ease. At any given moment. 12:33:09 Perhaps connecting through imagery. 12:33:15 Enlivened by all the senses. 12:33:21 And the imagery of a. Imagined place. 12:33:28 For the memory. 12:33:33 Or perhaps a place in nature. 12:33:39 Like walking through a park. 12:33:44 Natural sense. 12:33:50 Sunshine. 12:33:54 Rainbow of colors. 12:33:59 Refreshing wind. 12:34:05 Or perhaps words connect you to this unchanging source of ease and okayness. 12:34:13 Like peace. 12:34:17 Quiet. 12:34:23 Serenity. 12:34:28 Well being. 12:34:33 Whatever words resonate for you. 12:34:38 And if there's no words. This too is a perfect experience. 12:34:46 And where do you feel the inner resource? 12:34:53 Perhaps breath flowing freely throughout the body. 12:35:01 Maybe a release of tension in the muscles. 12:35:06 And release in the belly. 12:35:11 Shoulders. 12:35:16 A release in the hinges of the jaw. 12:35:23 Perhaps the inner resource feels like a lack of sensation. 12:35:27 Spaciousness. A complete release in the body. 12:35:35 Recognize and affirm. We can return to the inner resource at any time. During this irres practice. 12:35:45 And in everyday life. 12:35:51 Even if other perceptions come in. 12:35:54 Just noticing.
