Building a Collaborative Approach to Outdoor Learning Support in TDSB Schools
In this webinar participants will learn about an innovative outdoor learning initiative in the Toronto District School Board from Sylvia Denton-Carryl and Jan O’Reilly. Using school yards and local greenspaces, the TDSB’s Outdoor Education department is shifting how and where outdoor learning happens by supporting educators to make outdoor learning a part of student learning. Participants will learn about the collaborative inquiry and co-teaching process and the findings from the research report: A Collaborative Approach to Outdoor Learning Support in Schools (Evaluation Findings 2021-2022).
