Research interests

My research interest is in educational technology (EdTech). I will be researching how surveillance is produced by EdTech devices and EdTech corporations through their collection of student data. I will be looking at the policies and agreements between school boards and EdTech companies in Canada to determine the gaps and opportunities to protect student data, as EdTech is so prevalent in Canadian schools.
