Fall 2022/Winter 2023 Statement

As the province gradually lifts regulations related to COVID-19, we are pleased to confirm С��Ƶ’s plans for welcoming our community back to more in-person teaching and learning beginning this Fall.

Fall 2022/Winter 2023 Course Offerings

The majority of С��Ƶ's Fall 2022/Winter 2023 courses will be held in-person, with a significant number of courses being offered online in synchronous and/or asynchronous formats.

Specifically, the Master of Teaching and the Master of Arts in Child Study and Education will be delivered fully in-person. In addition, a large majority of courses in programs where students are being trained in professional practice in psychology and psychotherapy will be delivered in-person. Courses in other programs will be delivered in various modes, including in-person and online. For additional information about modes of course delivery in your particular program, please consult with your program administrators.

While we remain optimistic that the public health situation will allow us to safely proceed with a return to more in-person activities, our plans are subject to change as necessitated by external circumstances.

Vaccines & Masks

The University continues to encourage all members of the community to be fully vaccinated and to get a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as they become eligible. In the eventuality of a new wave of COVID-19 and further guidance regarding public health regulations, students may be required at any time to be fully vaccinated in order to visit the campus in person. Students who complete an external practicum placement may be required by their placement site to be fully vaccinated in order to complete their practicum. Please consult your program administrators for more details.

The University’s in settings such as classrooms and in indoor spaces where physical distancing cannot be maintained continues until at least June 30, 2022. At С��Ƶ, we strongly encourage the continued use of medical masks for those using all areas of the building, given the difficulty of distancing in elevators and hallways connecting classrooms.
