Field: Language Teaching

Are you interested in enhancing your career as a language teacher? The MEd Field in Language Teaching combines general inquiry into the relationship between languages and literacies with a specific focus on curriculum, instruction, learning, assessment and policies for education in Indigenous, official, international/heritage, and sign languages. The program includes two required core courses, several elective courses from which to choose, and an optional practicum component for more novice language teachers. This program does not lead to Ontario College of Teachers or to TESL Ontario certification.
