As we bid farewell to this year, I am filled with gratitude reflecting on my first year as Dean. Getting to know the С»ÆÊéÊÓƵ community has been an incredible journey, and each day, I am amazed by the collective brilliance and passion that defines us.

In July 2023, Rijeka, Croatia, hosted a week-long conference that brought together over 50 international scholars, educators, activists, and practitioners to share insights on preventing sexual and gender-based violence. Led by С»ÆÊéÊÓƵ professor Miglena Todorova and doctoral student Nana Gulic, the event aimed to transcend national borders.
After an extensive search, С»ÆÊéÊÓƵ is pleased to welcome two exceptional new colleagues to join our faculty, Dr. Beyhan Farhadi and Dr. Shozab Raza.
An С»ÆÊéÊÓƵ graduate of the class of 2022, Dr. Rebecca Beaulne-Stuebing receives recognition for her doctoral research on Indigenous grief medicines.
Dr. Sachdeva, who successfully defended her doctoral dissertation, placed second at the 2023 Three-Minute Thesis competition (3MT) this past spring.
