- Using your time as a PhD student to create a strong academic profile
- Creating an Academic CV (working with the U of T model)
It is designed to help PhD students lay the foundation for a successful academic career by focusing on the key elements of building a strong academic profile. Participants will learn how to strategically leverage their time as a graduate student to enhance their CV, research, and teaching experiences. The session will focus on the essential steps for creating an academic CV that reflects your scholarly achievements and aligns with the expectations of academic hiring committees.
Using the University of Toronto’s model, this workshop will guide you through the process of crafting a compelling CV that highlights your research, teaching, and professional skills. By the end of this session, you will have a clearer understanding of how to present yourself effectively in the academic job market and begin constructing a CV that will stand out to potential employers.
